Negreanu was once a fixture on High Stakes Poker, but he has been absent from televised cash games for a long stretch. These days he competes almost exclusively in tournaments on the WSOP and PGT circuits, rarely leaving Las Vegas apart from the annual WSOP Paradise trip to the Bahamas.
The connection that made this happen is not hard to trace. Negreanu is GGPoker's most high-profile ambassador, and GGPoker co-owns Hustler Casino Live — which is exactly how the LA-based stream managed to pull him back in front of the cash game cameras.

The most intriguing possibility is an appearance by HCL regular Nik Airball. Ahead of a February clash with Kristen Foxen, Airball declared that "Tourney players all suck, this is free money if I ever seen it!" — a line that aged poorly. Foxen booked a $17,100 profit while Airball finished the $399,900 session in the red.
Negreanu is, by any measure, a tournament player these days. If Airball takes a seat on August 28, the table talk alone will be worth the stream.
Business as Usual in September
Whether this return to cash games reignites Negreanu's appetite for the format is anyone's guess. What is already scheduled is September: he plans to stream the final 10 days of the 2026 World Series of Poker Online on GGPoker, a series that runs through September 29 and features a $25 million guaranteed Main Event alongside 33 bracelets.
He will start his streaming run with the $10,000 PLO event, noting simply that "PLO is my jam."
